Get Quiz Genie AI working on the current page and learn what to include when contacting support.

Quick fixes

  1. Click the toolbar icon on the page

    Quiz Genie AI receives temporary page access when you click its toolbar icon. Click it again after switching to a page you want to learn from, then choose Generate quiz, Start tutoring this page, or Make flashcards from this page.

  2. Use a supported page

    Quiz Genie AI reads standard HTTP and HTTPS pages. Chrome internal pages and the Chrome Web Store block page access.

  3. Check the selected connection

    Open Options in the side panel and confirm that the intended AI connection is selected and ready.

Connection help

OpenAI API key
Save an active project key in Options. Confirm that its OpenAI project can make API requests.
ChatGPT Codex subscription
If Codex shows Not connected or a saved session has expired, disconnect it in Options and complete device login again.
OpenRouter account
Choose OpenRouter in Options and complete the sign-in Chrome opens. If a saved key stops working, sign in again; the key belongs to your own OpenRouter account, which bills the requests.
